22 χρόνια τώρα ο «Κάκιας» αποτελεί σταθερό σημείο αναφοράς για το φρέσκο ψάρι και για ότι άλλο προσφέρει απλόχερα η θάλασσα του νησιού της Σαλαμίνας, οστρακόδερμα, μαλάκια καθώς και όστρακα κοσμούν το τραπέζι και ικανοποιούν τους πιο απαιτητικούς ουρανίσκους. Η οικογένεια Δημητριάδη σέβεται την πρώτη ύλη, για αυτό το λόγο έχει αποκλειστική συνεργασία με δυο ψαροκάικα τα οποία αναζητούν καθημερινά ότι καλύτερο έχει να δώσει η θάλασσα .Συνεπώς το μενού διαφοροποιείται καθημερινά ανάλογα με τις διαθέσεις του καιρού, την εποχή ακόμα και την ώρα. Ο «Κάκιας» έχει εκπαιδεύσει τους πελάτες του και ξέρουν ποιο ψάρι είναι στα δίχτυα και την ακριβή ώρα που δένει το καΐκι στο μώλο. Κομβικά σημεία στην κουζίνα του το ψήσιμο, το τηγάνι, τα αλίπαστα και τα ωμά του. Παράλληλα αριθμεί πάνω από 70 διαφορετικές ετικέτες ούζων καθώς και 36 ετικέτες τσίπουρων και εντάσσει όλο και περισσότερες μικρές και εξαιρετικές ποτοποιίες ανά την Ελλάδα. Dimitriadis family respects the basic materials and for that reason they exclusively cooperate with two fishing boats which search for the best things the sea can give to them on a daily basis. Consequently, the menu changes evey day depending on the weather conditions, the season and even the time of the day. «Kakias» has educated its customers so as to know what kind of fish they are going to find in the fishing net and even the exact time that the fishing boat arrives at the jetty. In the kitchen, the key points are its roasting, frying, salty and raw plates. «Kakias» also has a variety of more than 70 different labels of ouzo, as well as 36 labels of tsipouro and more and more little but exquisite distilleries all over Greece are entering its menu.
